I use the body spf on my face as well. I have eczema on my face and I find that the ingredients really protect and soothe during a flare— like nothing else in my arsenal. The finish is perfectly dewy and I haven’t broken out. I wish I could use this as my night cream. I would be over the moon if utu made an all purpose cream out of this formula by subtracting the spf.

Solid performance on the trails. It’s very easy to reapply while moving.
Favorite face stick to date! Best thing I've used for surfing. I haven't gotten torched once using this. Served me well for long sessions in Mexico and El Salvador, and at home in Oregon. I used Avasol, and some of the other tinted face sticks for a while, but man do you look like you put on a ton of makeup when you slather that stuff. Utu is tinted, but not so much that I look weird, plus I think it stays on better than the other options. Only question is if I can get re-fills for the tube? The packaging is soooo nice, I feel bad tossing it when its gone. Looks like there are mentions of re-fills, but not for sale on the Utu site, maybe discontinued. Anyways I'd buy those too! Also the sun balm is great on the lips. Regular cream work good for regular use, but not quite sticky enough for surfing IMO.

I am SO impressed with this spf daily moisturizer. Like…wow! To me, this is a true luxury skincare product. It applies so smoothly and really absorbs into skin while leaving a glow, but no pilling or white cast, unlike other high end mineral SPFs I’ve used (looking at you Alo!). Or leaves a real radiance on my skin, without a slippery silicone feeling like I get from chemical gel sunscreen or spf moisturizers. I also do not get any irritation, texture, or breakouts like I have with every single other zinc and mineral based face spf! This stuff seriously rocks. It looks, feels, and acts like skincare instead of just regular old sunblock or sport spf….and yet it is sports ready! I tried a few products from utu and was not expecting the moisturizer to be the hero product for me but it really really is! I don’t wear face makeup, and with the utu moisturizer I don’t need to. I get all the glow I need (without the burn!)
I picked up the Utu hydrating sun balm this season after using dermatone for years. I was hesitant to switch brands but as soon as I used the balm for the first time I knew I’d made a good call. UTU Really nailed it on this one. I'm a backcountry snowboarder and cyclist and the stick is the perfect product for me. Being outside year round I see a lot of sun and also sweat a ton. I've never found a sunscreen that lasts as long as their SPF 50 stick. I mean I've been outside for 7-11 hours at a time and have had no issues having this stay on my skin for that long. I've been a long time lover of UTU and finally get to use their products. Sun protection is critical for me and I'm stoked I found a company that produces a high quality, high protection, simple ingredient product. Highly recommend!

As an endurance athlete, I put UTU Skincare through a real test during my last ultra race (340 miles relay race). What impressed me most was how lightweight and breathable it felt. 4 stars for the product itself. dropping 2 stars for poor customer service. product: i love the sunscreen. it’s really moisturizing, no white cast, doesn’t feel tacky, and, crucially, i feel good about putting these ingredients on my face. i appreciate the non-plastic packaging and the small tube is a great size for portability. the cap threading/metal does seem to rub down and turns the sunscreen that comes into contact with it gray—the impact is small as it only happens if you squeeze a big amount out but it does create some greasiness on the cap. i also received a metal stick to roll the tube with but this seems like extra waste as the tube base serves the same purpose (and doesn’t cause toppling due to the handle). customer service: i have tried to repurchase on several occasions but the payment page no longer accepts my shipping address. i have reached out to customer service multiple times over several months and never gotten a reply. my shipping details are unchanged from my successful purchase and utu’s website still says they ship to my location. i’m pretty disappointed as i thought i’d found a new daily sunscreen.
