Native Like Water

For over 20 years, Native Like Water (NLW) has reconnected tribal youth in Southern California and beyond with their ancestral coastal heritage. NLW improves the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of indigenous youth through water recreation, marine science education, and habitat restoration. By engaging youth in these activities, NLW promotes health and counters climate change impacts.

The Surf Bus Foundation

Utu proudly supports The Surf Bus Foundation, the Santa Monica based organization dedicated to fostering a healing connection to the ocean. Each summer, their Surf buses transport over 3,000 children from economically challenged neighborhoods to the beach, where they experience the joys of surfing and swimming, engage in beach games, participate in beach clean-ups, and learn vital ocean safety and literacy.
